Dharma Yoga Therapy offers yoga therapy that focuses on health and wellness at all levels of the person: Physical, Psychological, and Spiritual.

Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teaching and practices of yoga.

Yoga Therapy focuses on the path of yoga as a healing journey that brings balance to the body and mind through an experiential understanding of the primary intention of Yoga: Awakening of Spirit, our essential nature.

“I met Julia Hamilton in the winter of 2017. She agreed to be my private meditation teacher for several sessions so that I could more fully understand meditation and have a partner in getting my practice started. Julia was fully prepared with hand outs, notes, book ideas and props to support her teaching. She listened to my story so that she could individualize my practice a bit better. She also started me on some breathing techniques which I could immediately benefit from. She shared her knowledge, wisdom and life experiences all which enhanced my understanding of the meditation practice. Julia is compassionate, patient, kind understanding and humble. She is a wealth of information on all things meditation and yoga. She has inspired me to work on my practice everyday and to delve further into the teachings of Buddha, Ghandi and other spiritual leaders. Nothing is off limits and there are no boundaries or judgments. I highly recommend Julia as a meditation teacher and I am sure if we did a yoga session that she would be fantastic at that too.
